Jessie Keen Huff, 91 of North Spring, departed this life Friday, August 9, 2019 from her daughter’s residence.
Born on February 22, 1928 in Wyoming County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charley and Carrie (Morgan) Keen.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Ford Huff; her daughters: Heneretta Huff and Donna Cline; sons: Gregory J. Huff, Timothy Eric Huff and Thomas David Huff; grandsons: Ryan E. Ohmer, Nick Huff and Gabby Ellis; great grandson: Tanner Scott Cline; sisters: Mary May Stacy and Edith Keen; brother: Donald Rosenbond.
Jessie was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many, who enjoyed reading, cooking and helping others. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her daughters: Annetta (Johnny) Blankenship of Justice, Joyce (Lonnie) Cline of North Spring, Wanda Ohmer of Hopewell, VA., Anita (Arthur) Ellis and Mary Morgan and companion James Cline, all of Baisden; sons: Samuel Huff of Oceana, Robert (Misty) Huff, Michael Huff and William Huff, all of North Spring; sister: Rebecca Bishop of Blackstone, VA.; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Monday, August 12, 2019 from 6 to 10 pm at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer where funeral services will commence Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford and Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery, Simon, WV.
Jessie will be carried to her final resting place by her grandsons.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
