Jimmy Howell

Jimmy Howell, 62 of Justice, departed this life Saturday, April 1, 2023 from St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV.

Born November 23, 1960 at Iaeger, WV he was the son of the late Milford and Hazel (Riffe) Howell.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister: Teresa Blankenship; paternal grandparents: Lacy and Juaner Howell; maternal grandparents: Burton and Minnie Riffe; great grandmother: Alice “Granny” Simpson; brother-in-law: Douglas Mullins; step-son: Norman Lester.

Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his 4-wheeler, he loved being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Protestant Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sister: Wilma (Howell) Mullins of Wharncliffe; niece: Savannah Mullins of Williamson; nephews: Skyler Mullins (Shawna Hicks) of Williamson, Travis, and Dustin Blankenship, both of Gilbert; great-nieces: Devona Blankenship of Gilbert, and Skyla Mullins of Williamson; great nephew: Douglas “Douggie” Mullins of Williamson, and another one on the way; ex-wife: Dimple (Mounts) Howell of Verner.  Jimmy also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, April 7, 2023 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning officiating.  Burial will follow at Justice Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Justice, WV. 

Jimmy will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
