Jimmy Jarrod Trent, 31, of Baisden gained his wings on Monday February 1st, 2021 at CAMC General Hospital.
Jarrod was born on Friday March 3rd 1989 at Logan General Hospital to his loving parents, Jimmy and Annette Trent. He was a graduate of Gilbert High School and a proud member of the young Marines. Jarrod was of the Pentecostal faith. At the age of 9, Jarrod with his parents and the Lord’s help, fought and won the fight against a serious brain tumor. Jarrod went on to be a 22-year brain tumor survivor. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and loved making them laugh; he was always the comedian, and was loved by many. He never knew the impact he made on so many others.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Christine Rife, great Grandparents Emery and Eunice Cline, and his uncle, Darrell Rife.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and mourn his loss are his loving parents Jimmy and Annette Trent of Baisden; two sons: Jaxton Lee Trent of Switzer and Aiden Chase Trent of Gilbert; his sister Christina Trent and fiancé Jordan Salmons of Wharncliffe; paternal grandparents Joe and Emma Trent of Baisden; maternal grandparents Terry and Kathleen Hatfield of Odessa, FL; and his cousin and longtime best friend Samantha Buchanan also of Baisden.
