Jimmy Vance

On July 17, 2022, our wonderful and loving husband, dad, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, was gifted with his Angel Wings and he’s gone to be with the Lord.

Jimmy Vance, 80 of Justice, WV departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from CAMC Hospice Care.

Born on September 29, 1941 in Justice, WV he was the son of the late Claude Roy and Sylvia (Mounts) Vance.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Vance.

Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, anything to do with the outdoors. He especially loved to garden; he had a “green thumb” for that. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the U.M.W.A. and he was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his loving wife of 51 years: Bonnie Lue (Littles) Vance; his son: Grant C. Vance; grandchildren: Kevin, Courtney, Dalton, and Ethan; great granddaughter: AdeLynn; sister: Nedra Vance.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Endicott officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Justice, WV.

The family wants to extend special thanks to Mounts Funeral Home, and a very special friend: Hallie Harless, for traveling to and from CAMC with the family and for being their "Rock" in this storm that the family has faced.

Jimmy will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
