JoAnn (Hatfield) Blankenship

JoAnn Blankenship, 75 of Hampden, WV departed this life Friday, July 21, 2023 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born November 12, 1947 in Gilbert, WV she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ida (Hatfield) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn is also preceded in death by her husband: Drewey Blankenship; grandson: Patrick Morgan.

JoAnn enjoyed gardening, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter: Joni Morgan; grandchildren: Zack, Cody, Seth "Tyler", and Kathlyn Morgan, all of Hampden, WV; nephew: Donald Hatfield II; great nephews: Donald Neal, and Canaan Hatfield, all of Logan, WV; brother: Donald (Joan) Hatfield of Fort Gay, WV.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ralph Manuel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden, WV.

JoAnn will be taken to her resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
