John Collins Obituary

John Ulysses Collins, 57 of Man, WV departed this life Thursday, April 15, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born August 13, 1963 at Man, he was the son of the late Chester and Shirley (Collins) Dempsey.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his grandmother, who helped raise him: Bertha Mae Collins; his sister: Cora Sue Dempsey Collins; brother: Mark Douglas Collins.

John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sister: Mary (Terry) Glandon of Lorado; brother: William Ray (Sharon Lynn) Collins; nieces: Sarah Mae (Jessie) Wolf and Katie Michelle (Josh) Stewart; nephews: Tony Ray (Melissa) Collins, all of Bowling Green, KY and Daniel Lee Collins of Hurricane, WV. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

To honor his wishes, his remains will be cremated.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
