John Austin Griffin

John Austin Griffin, 36 of Man, WV departed this life Sunday, May 5, 2024 from Logan Regional Medical Center.  Born June 7, 1987, at Logan, WV he was the son of Sandra (McCoy) Glandon and the late Walter Herbert Griffin.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his grandfather: Joe McCoy; stepfather: Johnny Glandon, Jr.

John was an avid West Virginia Football fan; he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Christian Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his children: Becca Stacy, Brody Stacy, and Brock Griffin; mother: Sandra (McCoy) Glandon of Man, WV; brother: Dustin Griffin; nephew: Beckett Griffin; niece: Kloe Griffin, all of Fredericktown, OH; grandmother: Delores “Gabby” McCoy of Raleigh, NC.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Bruno Church of God from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence there at the church at 12:00 pm with Pastor Roger Frye and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.

John will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Dustin, and Brock Griffin, Brody Stacy, Adam, and Bob Mason, Donald Grimmett.  Honorary pallbearers are Charley Woodall and Kenny Smith.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
