John Scott Justice, 50, of Justice, West Virginia, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 5, 2021. The beloved son of Tim Justice and Mickey Browning Justice was born on February 3, 1971, at Man Appalachian Regional Hospital in Man, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Justice, and his paternal grandparents, Jack Justice and Roxie V. Blankenship Justice and maternal grandparents, Hestel Browning and Margaret DeFazio Browning; and Aunts: Dora Lou Justice, Nedra Justice, and Karen Robinson Browning.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his devoted mother, Mickey Justice, his loyal brother, Thomas Jackson Justice, and his precious nephew, Jackson Timothy Justice. Aunts and Uncles include Linda Browning Runyon (Roger), Greer, SC; Billie Browning Sanchez, New Bern, NC; Michael Browning, Verner, WV; David Browning (LuAnn) Gilbert, WV; Georgia Browning Brown (David) Justice, WV., and Robert Browning (Margaret) Greenville, SC.
Adoring cousins include Joseph and Jason Runyon, Jeanette Andrews, Ashley Browning Vance, Joe David Browning, Margaret Ann Browning Fitch, Nicholas Brown, and Steven Leigh Browning.
John Scott was a proud 1992 graduate of Gilbert High School. John will be remembered for his gentle nature, his giving, and his benevolent heart. He was a collector of many things and enjoyed sharing these items with family and friends. His most cherished collectibles were calendars, music CDs, and colored markers. In addition, he was an avid photographer who thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures of loved ones. Furthermore, John passionately loved to travel to various vacation destinations, including Myrtle Beach, SC, where he enjoyed seeing the ocean. Lastly, he felt at peace meditating and resting on the bench at the Justice Tabernacle Church.
Friends and family may gather for the visitation at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Verner Community Church at Verner, WV. The funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Walter Grimmett and Michael Browning officiating.
Burial will follow at Wilson’s Cemetery in Justice, WV. John will be carried to his final resting place by friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Verner Community Church. Additionally, the family requests that all who attend the service practice social distancing and wear facial masks.
