Johnny Millard Cline 82, of Gilbert, WV entered into the hands of a just God on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from his residence.
Born June 5,1943, in Baisden, WV, he was the son of the late Elliott and Elzada Cline.
In addition to his parents, Johnny is preceded in death by his son: Tony May, sister: Alma Cline, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.
Johnny was a retired coal miner, and was of the Church of God faith. He loved watching old westerns, vacationing in Tennessee, and spending time with his family. His favorite past time was playing cards with his family, where he was the card champion! He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding horses when he was younger.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife of over 20 years: Gail (Grimmett) Cline; sons: Jeffrey Lee Cline, Keith Eliott Cline, Andrew (Ginger) May, Steven (Sherry) May; and Leland May, who he raised as his own; daughters: Laura Ann Cline and Tammy (George) Sparks; brothers: Ralph Winston (Shirley) Cline, Rutherford James (Glenda) Cline, and Randy Lee Cline; and sisters: Sylvia Darlene Carter and Fonda (Bill) Adams. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In honoring his wishes, Johnny’s remains will cremated without services.
His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
