Joyce Marie (New) Robinson

Joyce Marie Robinson, 64 of Verner departed this life Friday, July 1, 2022 from Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Born June 15, 1958 at Welch, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Naomi (Justice) New,

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sisters: Georgia Coleman, Joan Lester, Eunice Berry, Magdalene Blankenship, Evelyn Walls; brothers: Rayburn New and Dale New.

Joyce was an avid and faithful church goer; she loved to read and study her Bible and she loved singing in church.  She loved and adored her children and grandchildren; they were her world.  Joyce was a member of the Baisden Community Church in Jesus Name.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her loving husband of 13 years: Phillip Robinson, Sr. of Verner; her daughters: Sabrina Lester (Kevin Ferguson) of Baisden, and Miranda (Ricky) Lester of Iaeger; son: Phillip (Carolyn) Robinson, Jr. of Verner; granddaughters: Brooklyn Lester of Baisden, Keylee Lester and Addison Iafolla, both of Iaeger; grandsons: Dakota and Brayden Lester, both of Baisden; brother: Randy New of Baisden; sisters: Patty Blackburn of Baisden, Diana Stepp of Mohawk, and Loretta Kennedy of Justice.  Joyce also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning, Rev. Dale Bailey, and Rev. Mike Ashby officiating.  Burial will follow in the Browning-Dye Cemetery at Verner, WV.

Joyce will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Dakota and Brayden Lester, Kevin Ferguson, Ron Brown, and Phillip Robinson, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Lester and Randy Dye.
