Judy Karren (Walker) Blankenship

Judy Karren Blankenship, 69 of Justice, departed this life on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 11, 1952 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Opal Elizabeth (Bays) Walker.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Billy Con Blankenship; brother: Lindale Walker.

Karren enjoyed shopping, she was an avid watcher of the Yellowstone series, she also enjoyed murder mysteries.  She loved to vacation in Tennessee and spend time with her family and friends.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her sons: Billy Ray (Kim) Blankenship of Justice, and Chad (Telesa) Blankenship of Jefferson City, TN; her grandsons: Jeremy (Nikki) Blankenship of Florida, Aaron Blankenship, and Chaz Blankenship, both of Justice; granddaughter: Kelli Blankenship of Kentucky; brother: George (Pat) Walker of Virginia; close friend: Sharon Blankenship of Justice.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Monday, January 3, 2022 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will commence at 7:00 pm with Rev. Homer Blankenship, Jr., officiating.

To honor her request, she will be cremated.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
