Justin Marshall Hammond

Justin Marshall Hammond, 29, of Crites, WV departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, from his residence.

Born May 6, 1989 at Logan, WV, he was the son of Paul Hammond and Dixie Prichard.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Barbara Hammond and Mildred Chafins; uncle: Sammy Endicott.

Justin was a coal miner and was employed by Greenbrier Minerals. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride ATVs.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Justin and to mourn his passing include his wife: Angel Hammond of Crites; his precious daughter: Lillyan Rose Hammond of Crites; his mother: Dixie Prichard of Williamson; his father: Paul Hammond of Matewan; 3 sisters: Mary Mullins of Delbarton, Latosha Sandlin of Tennessee, Catlin Hatfield of Turkey Creek, KY; 2 brothers: Roger Lee Prichard of Georgia and Jacob Hatfield of Hawaii.

Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 2-3 pm at the Gilbert Church of God where funeral services will commence at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.

Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in North Springs, WV.

Justin will be carried to his final resting place by Bryan Hunt, Brendan Hunt, Mack Blankenship, Mitchell Bryant, Billy Jack Ellis and Mikle Rowe.

He is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
