Katherine Ann Allen

Katherine Ann Allen, 66 of the Stafford Branch section of Gilbert, departed this life Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from her residence.

Born on January 6, 1955 at Man, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Goldie (Glanden) Goodman.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Russell “Rusty” Allen; brother: Robert goodman; sisters: Deloris Lawrence, Linda, and Gus Goodman.

Katherine loved decorating and remodeling, she also loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter: Kathryn (Butch) Auville of Tamcliffe; her companion of 27 years: Charles Osborne of Stafford Branch; granddaughters: Kayla (Matt) Whitt of Varney, and Ashley; grandson: Corbin Auville of Tamcliffe; great grandson: Logan Whitt of Varney; brothers: Jerry McNeely of Amherstdale, Jimmy Dale Goodman of Tamcliffe, Tom (Dottie) Goodman of Man, Ronnie Goodman; sisters: Lucille Kirk of Poca, Phyllis (Kenny) Johnson of Verner, Ruth Myers of Wisconsin, Bonnie Baldridge of Ohio, Belinda Ripshire of Madison; caretaker/daughter: Emma (Freddy) Grimmett of Stafford Branch; special friends: Bork and Ali Grimmett; special nephews: Charles Ed and Craig Osborne of Boone County.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence there at the chapel on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Rick Endicott and Rev. Chet Cline officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert, WV.

Katherine will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
