Kenneth R. "Bo Bo" Ferrell, Jr.

Kenneth "Bo Bo” Richard Ferrell Jr., 46, of Gilbert, WV, entered his heavenly home, September 10, 2025, from Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

Born January 24, 1979, at Man, WV, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Angela Ferrell.

Bo Bo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandson and family, and creating memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness. Known for his kind heart and welcoming spirit, he truly never met a stranger and left a lasting impact on the lives of all who knew him.

A hardworking man, Kenneth was a retired strip miner and coal miner. His dedication and work ethic reflected the strength of his character. Beyond his career, he loved the beach, enjoyed playing games with his children, and cherished moments with those closest to him. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church of God.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 28 years: Bonnie Sue (Manuel) Ferrell; sons: Bradley Ferrell (Faith Dillon), Brandon Ferrell; daughter: Hannah Ferrell; grandson Jackson Ferrell; special fur baby: Bear; and a host of special cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends that he loved dearly.

Friends may gather with the family Monday, September 15, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, Gilbert, WV where funeral services will commence Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 1 pm with the Pastor Wimpie Bradford officiating.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
