Kenneth Glen Lester

Kenneth Glen Lester, 72 of North Springs departed this life Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from CAMC General Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 24, 1951 to the late Lawson and Pearl (Johnson) Lester.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his spouse: Jennifer (Testerman) Lester; his son: Kenneth Glen Lester, Jr; numerous brothers and sisters.

Kenneth had been a boss for several years in the coal mines.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Christian Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his daughters: Andrea (Lester) Hyatt and Allora Dey Lester, both of North Springs; 3 beautiful grandchildren: Shaye Beheler, Serenity Dawn Hyatt, and Kenlee Le’Shaye Hyatt; one special great grandson: Elijah Beheler; numerous brothers and sisters.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 12:00 till 2:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. James Cline officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stanley Cemetery at North Springs.

Kenneth will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Stephen Hatfield, Shaye Beheler, and other family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
