Kenneth Norman Meade

Kenneth Norman Meade, 58 of Gilbert, departed this life Saturday, February 1, 2020 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on August 26, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of Glema (Mullins) Meade and the late Clayton Meade.

Kenneth loved working with cars and other vehicles, he was an adventurous person, who loved racing and fast cars, riding his 4-wheeler, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Kenny was of the Church of God Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his mother: Glema (Mullins) Meade of Gilbert; wife: Elizabeth (Walls) Meade of Justice; daughter: Kayla (Meade) Lester of Baisden; son: Matthew Meade of Gilbert; step-daughter: Kelly Walls of Adelaide, Australia; sister: Lou Ann (Howard) Morris of Pearisburg, VA; brother: Steven Morrison of Milton, WV; grandchildren: Addison Lester of Baisden, Madalyn Meade and Sophia Meade, both of Gilbert; sisters-in-law: Sue (Tommy) Belcher and Jeanie (Chris) Wallace, all of North Springs, Carla (Dennie) Carter of Hanover; brother-in-law: Mickey Riffe.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bill Cresong officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Pecks Mill, Chapmanville, WV.

Kenny will be carried to his final resting place by pallbearers: Jeff and Josh Justice, Michael and Ashton Elander, Kelly Cline and Matthew Meade.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
