Kevin Wayne Ellis

Kevin Wayne Ellis, 55 of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life Friday, November 1, 2024, from his residence.  Born March 1, 1969, at Man, WV., he was the son of the late Kathleen (Colangelo) Wolford and Jerry “Red” Ellis.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister: Wanda Sue “Goldie” Hurley; brothers: Johnny Gilbert Ellis and Henry Keith Ellis; niece: Robin Nicole Stanley; nephew: Carl Henry Wolford, Jr.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his aunts Judy Akers and Bertha Hatfield.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, he always had a smile, and ways to make everyone laugh, he always had a helping hand for anyone in need.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his brothers: Jerry (Carol) Ellis, and Gregory Daniels; sister: Carolyn Daniels; aunts: Bertha Hatfield, Judy Akers; uncles: Dick and Raymond (Barbara) Ellis; nephew: Lee (Kayla) Ellis.  He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews and other dear relatives, and friends.

To honor his wishes, he will be cremated.  There will be no service.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
