LaDonna Gail (Asprey) Brumfield

LaDonna Gail (Asprey) Brumfield, 45, of Bowling Green Ohio, formerly from Bruno, WV departed this life suddenly at her residence on Friday, August 14, 2020.

Born on October 12, 1974 in Man, WV, she was the daughter of the late Douglas Asprey and Linda Griffin.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Joe Brumfield; sister: Michelle Asprey Hitchcock; grandparents: Ruth and Kork Griffin.

LaDonna attended Man High School, graduating in 1992.  She studied at Northwest State Community College.  LaDonna worked in many factories in Virginia, she even helped her husband Joe cut trees.  If there was a job to do, she probably had done it.  She attended church faithfully.  LaDonna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son: Joe Matthew Lee Brumfield of Bruno; daughters: Tara Linda Brumfield (Josh Ellis) Of Bruno, Kristina Robinson of Roanoke, VA, Starlena Salter (Billy) of Man; grandson: Timothy Nicholas of VA; granddaughters: Caitlyn, Sophia and McKenzley Salter of Man, Miley and Madison Ellis of North Carolina; brother: Matthew Stevens of Bruno; niece: Stephanie Workman of Ohio; special aunt: Lila Brumfield of Lorain, Ohio.  She also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5:00 till 7:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 7:00 pm with Rev. Mackenzie Martin officiating. 

Per her request, LaDonna will be cremated following services.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mounts Funeral Home toward funeral services.
