Larry Lee Bradford, 72 of Wharncliffe departed this life Friday, February 21, 2020 from his residence.
Born on March 25, 1947 at War Eagle, he was the son of the late Willis and Nelly “Cotton” (May) Bradford.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother: Rev. Marvin Bradford; stepmother: Janice Bradford; stepbrother: Phillip Berry; very special friend: Rebecca Rollyson.
Larry was an avid fan of the WV Mountaineers and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Church of God Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his sister: Eileen Mullins of Wharncliffe; step-sisters: Barbara Ellis and Wilma Hinkle, both of Wharncliffe, and Missy Patrick of Beckley; step-brothers: Ed, Alfred and Jerry Berry, all of Wharncliffe, and Michael Berry of Baisden; his friends: Jennifer Collins and Benny Musick. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will commence Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 1:00 pm there at the Chapel with Rev. Denny May officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery, Gilbert Creek Road.
Larry will be carried to his final resting place by pallbearers: Jordan and Dustin Salmons, Adam and Bink Johnson, Johnathan Patrick and Marvin Joe Bradford. Honorary pallbearers are: B.J. Grimmett, Kevin Abbott, Michael Patrick, Toge Johnson, Arthur Ellis and Benny Musick.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
