Larry Dale Huffman, 67 of Tamcliffe departed this life Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on March 26, 1954 in Logan to the late Loney Mae (Huffman) Ball.
In addition to his mother, he is also preceded in death by his brother: David Ray Ball; one infant sister: Paula Ann Ball; mother-in-law: Shelby Mounts; maternal grandparents: Glen (Jean) Huffman, Sr; sister-in-law: Rosemary Huffman; brother-in-law: Junior Huffman; nephew: Steven Ray Morgan.
Larry was of the Pentecostal Faith. He never met a stranger, he loved to fish, cut grass, work on motors of any sort, but most of all; spending time with his granddaughter Laci, most evenings you could find these two best friends on a mower or in a toolbox in the yard.
Those left to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing are his wife of 37 years: Diana Huffman; daughter: Angel (Michael) Ketterman; granddaughter: Laci Cole Huffman, all of Tamcliffe; brother: Paul Ball of Christian, James (Kristy Brown) Ball of Browning Fork, Mark (JoAnn) Ball of North Carolina; sisters-in-law: Deloris (Jim) Hubler of NY, Teresa Vance of Tamcliffe, Angie (Ray) Morgan of Justice; brothers-in-law: Bubby (Roberta) Toler of Justice; nieces and nephews: Casey, Andy and Kailyn Ball, Kelly (Slater) Huffman, David Huffman, Stephanie (David) Blankenship, Justin (Megan) Morgan, Brandon (Jamie) Toler, Kenneth (Kimberly) Vance, Billie (Jared) Hubler, Jason (Andrea) Hubler, Stacy (Von) Smith, and Brooklyn Toler. He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Monday, August 23, 2021 from 6:00 till 9:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence there in the chapel on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Katie Endicott officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning-Dye Cemetery at Verner.
Larry will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
