Lawrence Cline

Lawrence Cline 96 of Panther, WV gained his angel wings December 7, 2018 peacefully in his home.

Lawrence was born on May 31, 1922 at Mohawk.  He was the son of the late Bob and Margaret Cline.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life of 66 years, Helen Coleman Cline. Along with his loving wife, and parents; Lawrence is proceeded in death by two daughters Margaret Rose Cline and Leona Bullard. Two sons, Gene Cline and Keaster Cline; brothers Harold, Darrell, Clyde, Rex, and Jay Cline. Sisters: Florence Lester, Berchie Branch, and Betty Cline.

Lawrence was a coal miner, electrician, owner & operator of Cline Construction. He was a member of Bull Creek Freewill Baptist Church from a young age. He enjoyed going to church, talking about the lord & singing. He also enjoyed hunting with his dog Trixie & working in his garage at home.

Those left to love & cherish his memory include one brother Gordon Cline of Tazewell Va. His five sons: Clark, Hassel, & Dean (Sue) Cline of Panther, WV. Ray Cline of Lindside. Lawrence Cline Jr. of Princeton. His four daughters: Shelby (Cliff) Whitman, Kathy (Curt) Riddle, Laura (Devon) Sellers of Va Beach, and his caretaker Gayle Auville of Panther. A son-in-law Jeff Auville of Iaege;. 27 grandchildren, numerous great grandkids, and great great-grandkids.

Friends may gather with the family on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Panther Missionary Baptist Church from 11-1 pm, with funeral services commencing at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Willie Coleman and Rev. Hassel Riffe officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lawrence Cline Cemetery at Panther.

Lawrence will be carried to his final resting place by his grandsons.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
