Lee James Trent

Lee James Trent, 81 of Wharncliffe, departed this life Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his residence.

Born on September 3, 1938 at Baisden, he was the loving son of the late Fleming and Florence (Sis) Cline Trent.

Lee was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.  Lee was a member of the U.M.W.A., he was also a member of the Spotted Saddlehorses and Tennessee Walking Horse Association, also of the Full Gospel Church of God of Baisden.  He loved working with chain saws and his sawmill.  He enjoyed coon hunting.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his loving wife: Kathleen (Cline) Trent of Wharncliffe; sons and daughters: Alfred Gerald (Regina) Cline of Wharncliffe, Doris (Carl) Brewer of Wharncliffe, Genive Cline and companion Joey Lester of Ikes Fork, Janet (Roger) Blum of Dellrose, TN., and Vernard (Pig) Trent and companion Devina Baisden of Wharncliffe; grandchildren: Carl (Angel) Brewer, Jr., of Roderfield, Tiffany Brewer of Wharncliffe, Bonnie Sue (BoBo) Ferrell of Browning Fork, Michelle (Jason) Thomas of Frostburg, MD., Melissa (Brandon) Cline of Horsepen, Natasha (Burton) New of Wharncliffe, Courtney Blum of Orlando, FL., Montana Blum of Ardmore, AL.; 15 great-grandchildren; special niece: Deletta Bray of Hinton; sister: Ella (June Bug) Smith of Baisden; brothers: Jessie (Linda) Trent of Verner, Rev. Jonas (Erma) Trent of Baisden, Argus (Liza) Trent of Wharncliffe, Clifford (Kaye) Trent of Baisden, Herman (Teresa) Trent of Baisden, Elmer (Dorothy) Trent of Chicago. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his Dignity Nurses: Linda and Sherry.  Lee also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will commence on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Jonas Trent, Rev. Jim Nagy and Rev. Ralphy Manuel officiating.

Burial will follow in the Springfork Cemetery at Wharncliffe.

Lee will be carried to his final resting place by pallbearers: Jamie Ferrell, Brandon Cline, Jason Thomas, Carlo Brewer, Jeremy Morrison and Burton New.  Honorary pallbearers are Keith Hill, Ricky Cline and Rush Cline.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
