Less Browning

Less Browning, 82, of Man, WV departed this life Thursday, February 4, 2021 from Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born on January 31, 1939 at Harts, WV he was the son of the late Wade and Nina (Ramey) Browning.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his 1st wife of 37 yrs. Florence Sue Fleming; his infant sister: Mae Browning; brothers: Archie and Luther Browning; sister: Fannie Hail.

Less was a member of the Bruno Church of God.  He served in the U.S. Navy; he was also a member of the U.M.W.A.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 yrs.; Carol (Grimmett) Browning of Man; step sons: Steve Grimmett (Angie Robinson) of Huff Creek, Nick (Melissa) Grimmett of Wyoming, Donald Grimmett (Roxanna Slone) of Man; grandson: Tyler Michael Grimmett (Rachel Fox) of Gilbert; granddaughter: Maci (Kendall) Grimmett of Wyoming; brothers: George (Linda) Browning of Chapmanville, Wenzil Browning, Donnie (Cathy) Browning of Huntington; sisters: Zola Daniels of Kentucky, Flossie Owley of Ohio.  He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Bruno Church of God, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Roger Frye officiating.

Military honors will be provided by VFW Post # 6153, Chapmanville, WV.

To honor his wishes, he will be cremated following services.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
