Linda Sue (Grimmett) Blankenship

Linda Sue (Grimmett) Blankenship, 77 of Bruno, WV was taken to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

Born April 17, 1947, at her home in Christian, WV, she was the daughter of the late Nellie (Lonnie) Bartram and Lee Grimmett.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lloyd Blankenship; daughter: Robin Lynn Blankenship; son: Robert Lloyd Blankenship, Jr; sisters: Cindy Powers, Jenny Adkins; brother: Larry Grimmett.

Linda was a devoted member of the Bruno Church of God, where she had attended her whole life.  She loved spending time with her family in Pocahontas County at “The Camper”.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her 3 children: Timmy (Linda) Blankenship, Shannon (Greg) Baisden, and Christopher (Dalina) Blankenship; 4 grandchildren: Preston Blankenship, Sha (Ronnie) Hamilton, Cierrah Baisden and Cody Baisden; brother: Lonnie Bartram.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends. 

Friends may gather with the family Monday, October 7, 2024, from 1:00 till 3:00 pm at the Bruno Church of God, Bruno, WV where funeral services will commence at 3:00 pm with Pastor Roger Frye and Rev. Louie Vanover officiating.  Burial will follow in the Browning/Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno, WV.

Linda will be carried to her resting place  by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
