Lois Ann (Hatfield) Trent

Lois Ann (Hatfield) Trent 71, of Wharncliffe, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 10, 1949 at Wharncliffe, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Arminda (Browning) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers: Lanny, Danny, and Morris Hatfield; granddaughter: Grace Trent.

Lois loved attending church and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Ben Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her loving husband of 52 years: James Trent; sons: Nathaniel (Duke) Trent, Joe (Janella) Trent, all of Justice, Johnny Dale and Jamie Don Trent, all of Wharncliffe; grandchildren: Josh Trent, Dakota Sisk and Dylan Trent of Richlands, VA., Jacob Trent of Justice; sisters: Rachel Davis of Cleveland, Ohio, Wilma Lee Eversole of Sunbury, Ohio., Ruby and Floyd Riester of Jackson, Ohio; brother: Edgar Hatfield of Columbus, Ohio.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. at the Ben Creek Free Pentecostal Holiness Church at Wharncliffe, where funeral services will commence at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Denny May and Rev. Danny Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in the Trent Family Cemetery at their home in Wharncliffe.

Lois will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Bimbo and Homer Hatfield, Jacob and Dylan Trent, Dakota Sisk, and James Smith.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
