Lonnie Ray Cline, 78 of North Spring departed this life Monday, February 26, 2024 from his residence. Born November 23, 1945 at North Spring, he was the son of the late Tony and Lena (Thornsbury) Cline.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sisters: Lois Morgan, Helen Glassco, Martha Conrad, and Bernice Hagen.
Lonnie was a member of the U.M.W.A. He enjoyed going to the beach, and being outdoors, especially sitting on his porch, and spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife: Joyce Ann (Huff) Cline; sons: Lonnie (Alisha) Cline, Jr., Michael Ray Cline, Tony (Buffy) Cline, Trevor R. Cline, all of North Spring; grandchildren: Whitney Cline of North Spring, Shaylyn Cline of Baisden, Haley Evans of Hanover, Ashley Ellis of Man, McKayla Cline of Matewan, Chloe and Brody Cline, both of North Spring; 6 great- grandchildren; brothers: David Cline of North Spring and Jim Cline of Hanover; sisters: Freda Browning of Princeton, Ruth Gerald of Columbus, Ohio, and Anita Wohlwend of California. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Pastor Joseph Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at North Spring.
Lonnie will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
