Loretta (Allen) Cline

Mrs. Loretta (Allen) Cline, 87, of Alderson, WV, formerly of Gilbert, WV, gained her Angel Wings Wednesday, June 9, 2021, following an extended illness.

Born on March 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ethel (Trent) Allen.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband: James Matthew Cline; sister: Patty Hayes; granddaughter: Stephanie Perry; great-granddaughters: Makayla Faith Bowyer and Kayleigh Jade Cline.

Loretta enjoyed attending church, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as many family members and lots of friends.  Her family was her life.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her loving sister: Emma Jean Blankenship of Brenton, WV; daughters: Delilah Mounts of Alderson, WV and Ethel (Keith) Perry of Portland, TN; son: Greg (Jeanitta) Cline of Dahlonega, GA; daughter: Melissa (Ryan) Sicher of Myrtle Beach, S.C; grandson that she raised: Robert (Carrie) Cline of Alderson, WV; granddaughter that she raised: Ashley (Kenny) Cline of Fayetteville, WV; grandchildren: James (Loretta) Mounts of Baisden, WV, Matthew (Sharon) Mounts, and Ethan Mounts, all of Alderson, WV, Joshua (Laura) Mounts of Huntington, WV, Samantha Perry of Franklin, KY, Keith Perry, Jr. (Christy) of Gallatin, TN, Greg Cline, Jr. (Ginger), Anthony Cline (Chandra), Zach Cline (Kayla) and Olivia Farmer (Matt), all of Dahlonega, GA, Austin Hatfield of Highpoint, N.C; great grandchildren: Adam, Miah, William Mounts of Baisden, WV, Erica, Lucas, Jacob Mounts of Huntington, WV, Justin (Chloe), Brandon Cline, Brody Perry of Franklin, KY, Jordan Perry, Desirae (Conner) Perry of Gallatin, TN, Destiny Simpkins, Tessa, Brenton Cline, Gracie, Brinley, Daylin, Alena Cline, Xander Houston, all of Dahlonega, GA, Cylee, Brynlee Snedegar, Hunter, Madalee Cline, all of Alderson, WV, Matthew and Kaiden Bowyer of Alderson/Fayetteville, WV, Layla Hatfield of Highpoint, N.C; great great-granddaughter: Paisley Dixon of Tennessee.  Loretta also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Monday, June 14, 2021, from 2:00 till 3:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 3:00 pm with Rev. Grant Petitt and Rev. Larry Hayes officiating.  Burial will follow in the Brushy Fork Cemetery at Isaban, WV.

Loretta will be carried to her resting place by her grandsons.  Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
