Margaret Ann (Cline) Lester

Margaret Ann (Cline) Lester, 74 of Baisden, WV departed this life Saturday, January 27, 2024 from CAMC General Hospital.  Born July 10, 1949 in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Patty Marie (Warrix) and Aldie Cline.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband: Herbert Lee Lester; son: Ricky Lee Lester; stepfather: Lacy Bishop; siblings: Alex (Pedro) Cline, Oley Bishop, Ed Bishop, Kathy Baize, Lacy Bishop Jr, Nanna Stewart, Lacine Lester, Georgia Belcher, Okie Dean, Roy Rondle.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She loved attending church, and being with her church family, cooking and going camping, she especially loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God, Baisden, WV.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughter: Lesa (Randy) Compton; son: Brian (Chelsee) Lester, all of Baisden, WV; grandchildren: Valerie Bradford, Wessley (Shiley) Lester, Alyssa and LaRandi Compton, her very special grandson and caregiver: Tyler Lester, all of Baisden, WV, and Trey (Lauren) Lester of Beckley, WV; her great grandchildren: Mason, Greyson, Santeria, Axton, Journey, and Hailey Lester, all of Baisden, WV, and expected soon grandson, Kason Zane Lester of Beckley, WV; sisters: Judy Mullins of Iaeger, WV, Emogene Lester of Baisden, WV, Kathryn Bowels of Williamsburg, VA, Julie Cline; very special friends: Beatrice Smith and Orangie Cline, both of Baisden, WV.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, February 2, 2024 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at The Full Gospel Church of God, Baisden, WV where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jonas Trent and Bro. Learmon Mounts officiating. Burial will follow in the Dave and Lizzie Lester Family Cemetery, Baisden, WV.

Margaret will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Wessley, Trey, Tyler, Brian, Caleb, and Whitey Lester, Patrick and Peter Cline, Randy Compton, Johnathan Bradford, and Steven Daugherty.  Honorary pallbearers are: Larry, James and Collin Cline, Ken and Randall Lester, Joe (Joe Peck) Trent.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
