Margaret Stewart

Margaret Stewart, 88 of Tamcliffe, WV departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from Talbert’s Personal Care Home, Belington, WV

Born September 7, 1933 at Emmett, WV, she was the daughter of the late George Anderson and Wilhelmina (Dailey) Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Daniel and George Stewart.  And her partner for over Forty years, Steve Kovach, Jr.

Margaret loved to travel especially to the beach. She enjoyed picking blackberries with Steve and canning them. She was known as a “workaholic”, always finding something to do.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her sister: Emily (Stewart) Bowen of Columbus OH., Two Nieces: Georgia (Mark) Seiber and Teresa (Stewart) Wyatt both of Roanoke VA. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and close friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm. at the Tamcliffe Tabernacle Church at Tamcliffe, WV. Funeral services will commence there at the church at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV.

Margaret will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.  

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
