Margie "Millie" (Manuel) Goodman

Margie “Millie” (Manuel) Goodman, 85 of Panther, WV departed this life Sunday, June 8, 2025, from her residence.  Born August 4, 1939, at War Eagle, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Vernie (Smith) Manuel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Franklin “Ted” Goodman; son: Randy Goodman; unborn daughter: Isabella Goodman; unborn twins; great grandsons: Travis Cline and Braiden Compton; brothers: Wayne, Woodrow, and John Manuel; sisters: Delorse and Hazel.

Margie enjoyed crafting, sewing, and painting by numbers, she especially loved spending time with her family and her loving and loyal companion “Lady”, and she loved to garden.  She was a member of the War Eagle Church of God.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her children: Jerry (Jennifer) Goodman, Terry (Wilma) Goodman, Allen (Marie) Goodman, Aaron Goodman, Kelly Goodman, Darlene (Teddy) Stanley, Anna (Jimmy) Wolford, Loretta (Freddy Joe) Blankenship; 35 Grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sisters: Tina Kuhn, Clarice Walls; brothers: Ralph and Frank Manuel.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, June12, 2025 after 6:00pm at the War Eagle Church of God, War Eagle, WV.  Funeral services will commence there at the church on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00pm with Rev. Terry Goodman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Goodman Cemetery at War Eagle, WV.

Margie will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Jerry, Matt, Tyler, Josh, Jaden, Adam, Dominic, Terry, and Allen.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
