Mary F. Hatfield, 88 of Delbarton, departed this life Monday, August 30, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born on June 11, 1933 in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late William and Sadie (Mutter) Akers.
In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband: Cecil Hatfield; her son: William Painter; stepson: Perry Hatfield.
Mary enjoyed watching her game shows and going for long rides. She attended the Free Pentecostal Church of God at Beech Creek, where she enjoyed worshipping with all her friends and her church family.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her daughters: Faye Hatfield of Man, Nora Parker of Cleveland, OH; stepdaughters: Cynthia Dalton of Max Meadows, WV, and Roseanna Hatfield; sons: Robert Painter of Illinois, Gary Painter of KY, Frank Painter of Ohio, Chris Allen Painter; stepson: Rodney Carter; special friends: Candy Cisco, Cleo and Jackie Keck. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with her Pastor, Rev. David Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kennedy Cemetery at Beech Creek, Meador, WV.
Mary will be carried to her resting place by her family and friends.
She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
The family requests that all who attend the services wear facial masks, and practice social distancing.
