Mason Perry, 81 of Justice, WV departed this life Friday, November 28, 2025, from his residence.
Born February 23,1944, at Justice, WV, he was the son of the late Warren and Etta (Lester) Perry.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters: Lila Ellis and Essie Lambert; and brothers: James “Jim” Perry and Larry Perry.
Mason was a Pastor for 34 years and a retired safety consultant. He was a devoted Christian that taught himself to read Greek to better understand the Bible. He attended the Calvary Baptist Church at Iaeger; and enjoyed golfing and watching birds. Mason was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan, attending every home game he could during his time in Cleveland.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years: Brenda ( White) Perry of Justice, WV; daughters: Carolyn (Mike) Browning of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Rebecca Perry of the home; granddaughters: Megan (Ritchie) Hendricks of Justice, WV and Lena (Bradley) Richmond of Ballard, WV; great grandchildren: A’Leeah Hendricks, Mason Hendricks, Madison Richmond, Luke Richmond, and Hailee Richmond; brothers; Jerry Perry of Kistler, WV, and Sidney Perry of Indianapolis, IN; and sisters: Judith Watts of Justice, WV, Erma Perry of Indianapolis, IN, Diana (Ken) Williams of Thomasville, GA, and Flora (Mike) Berry of Concord, Virginia.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV. Funeral Services will commence the following day, Friday December 5, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.
Mason will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Ritchie Hendricks, Dave Richards, Tony Roberts, Ricky Ellis, Bobby White, and Michael Blankenship. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ray Bailey, Tim Chafin, Calvin Jones, Charles Justice.
