Melinda "Linz" (Morgan) Lovejoy

Melinda “Linz” (Morgan) Lovejoy, 57 of Justice, WV entered into heaven on Monday, April 26, 2021 from CAMC General, Charleston, WV, where she was greeted by her mother and father’s loving embrace. 

Born December 18, 1963 at Iaeger, WV she was the daughter of the late Frank and Norma Jean (Tiller) Morgan. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her grandson: Kyle Kenneda, maternal grandparents: Elbert and Ethel Tiller, paternal grandparents: Walter and Zelia Morgan, brother-in-law: Pernell Lester, and best friend: Wilma Vance. 

Linz was a selfless person, she had a heart of gold and loved everyone. If she told you she loved you, she meant it.  Melinda also loved her Lord and Savior.  She was the backbone of her family, and the glue that held everyone together.  Momma would give anyone anything they needed.  She devoted her life to her family and was the best Momma in the world.  She enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, and cooking for her family; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her angel, Kylee.  

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her loving husband: Randy Lovejoy; three daughters: Jessica (Kevin) Kenneda; Devan Hatfield; and Kendra (Adam) Lovejoy; three sons: Shane (Kayla) Morgan, Logan (Stephanie) Morgan, and Johnathan Lovejoy; Grandkids: “Her Angel” Kylee Kenneda, Brooklyn, Maddie, Sofie Bowling, Grayson, Aubrey Morgan, and Kaysley Morgan; two brothers: Terry (Vickie) Morgan; Timmy (Pam) Morgan; three sisters: Tammy Payne, Melva “Fuzz” Toler, and Sherry (Steven) May; special nieces and nephews: Benita Hunt, Amber Lester, Ryan Lester, Dewayne West, TJ Lynzee, and Remington Toler; special uncle and aunts: Jimmy and Nancy Tiller, and Aunt Adelene Adams.  Melinda also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, April 30, 2021 and Saturday, May 1, 2021 after 6 PM at the Upper Room Jesus Name Church at Long Branch, Simon, WV for visitation.  Funeral services will commence on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2 PM with the Rev. Mark Townsend and Pastor Freddie Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morgan Family Cemetery at Long Branch Mountain, Simon WV.

Melinda will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Tommy Cline, Logan Morgan, TJ Toler, Shane Morgan, Steven May, and Jeremy Hunt.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
