Michael Edward Bailey

Michael Edward Bailey, 61 of North Springs, WV departed this life Wednesday, August 7, 2024.  Born December 11, 1962, at Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Norman Elwood and Lassie Jane (Estep) Bailey.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother: Mark Raymond Bailey.

Michael enjoyed riding his Harley and working on his Chevy truck.  He was a truck driver since the age of 15.  Michael was of the Baptist Faith and attended church with his pastor Ronnie Lester.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife Alisha Marie Bailey of the home; his daughter: Mika Bennett of Varney, WV; stepsons: James Allen McNeely and Charles Edward McNeely, both of Verner, WV; brother: Sammy Bailey of Mohawk, WV; sister: Connie Milam of Stanford, NE; his grandchildren: Wesley Jay Carmichael Bailey of Varney, WV, Eli Allen McNeely and Branson Jake Schoolcraft, both of Horsepen, WV; 2 step grandbabies: Zander and Zoey Trent, both of Moneta, VA; his special fur baby: Bella.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 12:00 till 1:00 pm in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ronnie Lester and Rev. Jarvis Walls officiating.

To honor his request, Michael will be cremated following services.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
