Michael Lee Christian

Michael Lee Christian 47, of Baisden, WV, passed away on Saturday October 11, 2025, and entered the arms of a just God.  

He was born on July 20, 1978, in Man, WV to Drema Lester (mother) and Mark Lewis (father). 

He is preceded in death by Flossie Ellis (mom), Vanno Christian (dad), his maternal grandparents: Kennerd and Mina Ferguson, paternal grandparents: Morris and Flo Mitchell, cousin: Kenneth Charlie Ferguson.

Michael enjoyed many outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, digging ginseng, deer hunting, raising roosters, and spending time with his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or take on odd jobs to help others. Known for his love of storytelling, tall tales, and good jokes, Michael brought laughter wherever he went.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his parents: Drema and Mark Lewis, Wife: Autumn Belcher, son: Caleb Belcher, daughter: Brooklyn Lester, sisters: Doni (Michael) Holcomb and April Camur; brother: Charles Christian; two nephews: Joseph “Boo” Mounts and Omari Berks; two nieces: Mikayla (Isa) Scales and Mycah Callaway: aunt: Rhonda Smith; uncle: Lanny Mitchell; great nephew: Asher Callaway; great nieces: Brinley Callaway and Eliyanah Scales; and special uncle: Johnny Ferguson. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who he loved dearly.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday October 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home with special service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Winiford Bradford officiating.

To honor Michael's wishes he will be cremated following services.
