Mickey H. Cline, 77 of Baisden, departed this life Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born November 20, 1943 at Baisden, he was the son of the late Orville and Amanda (Layne) Cline.
In addition to his parents, Mickey is also preceded in death by his daughter: Staci Cline; brothers: Mitchell, Rodney, and Steve Cline.
Mickey enjoyed the outdoors, especially roaming around the mountains, and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a retired Strip Miner, also a member of the U.M.W.A., he had also served in the U. S. Army. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his loving wife: Vanessa (Grubb) Cline of the home; sons: Mitchell Cline of Baisden and Brandon Cline of Chapmanville; grandchildren: Jayden Cline (who was raised in the home), Mandy Cline, Sha Davis, Taylor Davis, and Alec Cline; great grandchildren: Xander, Christian and Aria; brother: Zachary (Jane) Cline; sister: Rhonda Cline. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Saturday, January 2, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jonas Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at Baisden.
Mickey will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Jamie Sloan, Mickey Mitchell, Tim Brook Collins, Brent Lester, Scott Chandler, Orville Mitchell and Rodney Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Trent, Keith Lester, John C. Mounts, Namon Lester, Jerry Hallam and Rex Grubb.
Military Honors will be provided by D.A.V. Chapter 141, Belfry, KY.
He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
