Milford Howell

Milford Howell, 85 of Justice departed this life Sunday, March 15, 2020 from Tug Valley ARH, South Williamson, KY.

Born April 26, 1934 in Three Forks, KY, he was the son of the late Lacy and Juaner (Taylor) Howell.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Hazel Riffe Howell; daughter: Teresa Blankenship; brothers: Freddy (Nell) Howell, T.J. (Jewell) Howell, Garland Howell, Ezra Howell and Lacy Howell, Jr; sisters: Liddie Neace, Virgie (Otis) Jude; son-in-law: Douglas Mullins; father & mother-in-law: Burton & Minnie Riffe; brothers-in-law: Bill and Eddy Riffe.

Milford loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors, he especially enjoyed looking at timber in the mountains, for he had worked as a logger/contractor for years.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his daughter: Wilma Mullins of Wharncliffe; son: Jimmy Howell of Justice; grandchildren: Savannah Mullins, Travis and Dustin Blankenship, all of Gilbert; great-grandchild: Skyler Mullins of Williamson; great-great grandchildren: Skyla Mullins of Williamson and Devona Blankenship of Browning Fork section of Gilbert; brothers-in-law: Hubert Riffe of Tamcliffe and Frank Neace of Justice; sister-in-law: Bonnie Howell Gauze of Inez, KY.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with special service at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence there at the chapel Friday, March 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Rick Endicott and Rev. Gary Browning officiating.  Burial will follow in Justice Memorial Gardens at Justice, WV.

Milford will be carried to his final resting place by Dustin Blankenship, Skyler Mullins, Sonny Layne and other relatives and friends.

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved him.
