Mona Belvie (Hatfield) Trent

Mona Belvie Trent, 88 of Gilbert, departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from her residence.

Born November 11, 1931 at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Abb and Zettie (Cline) Hatfield.

In addition to her parents, Mona is also preceded in death by her husband: Winfred Douglas Trent.

Mona was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, she loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a Child of The Lord.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her daughters: Judy Trent and Donna (Nathan) Hatfield, all of Gilbert; son: Rodney (Beverly) Trent of Gilbert; granddaughters: Beverly (Eric) Marthaler of Dayton, Ohio, Jennifer Maynard (Earl Gray) of Gilbert, Leslie (Dave) Adkins of New Haven, MO, Amanda (Brandon) Smith of Princeton, Catherine Gibbs of Huntington; grandsons: Christopher Hatfield and Wesley Trent, all of Gilbert; 9 great-grandchildren; brother: James (Ann) Hatfield of Gilbert.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

A private visitation was held Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 12 to 2 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside service was held at 2:00 pm at the Hatfield Cemetery at Hampden with Rev. Clyde Endicott officiating.

Mona was carried to her final resting place by pallbearers: Eric Marthaler, Bryce Carter, Troy Lockhart and Christopher Hatfield.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
