Nancy Jennett Collins

Nancy Jennett Collins, 72, of Bruno, WV departed from this life on February 19, 2022 from Logan Regional Medical Center after a short illness. 

Born November 19th, 1949 at Man, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ellen and Patrick Collins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life-long companion, and father of her two children, Hershel “George” Ellis; brothers: Cal Collins, Jerome Collins, Carl Collins, and Truman Collins; sisters: Genevieve Grimmett and Evelyn Collins; and one special nephew: Rick Collins.

Jennett was a homemaker.  She was of the Pentecostal faith, and attended the Bruno Church of God.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, walking, and visiting with members of her community. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Tony Ellis of Bruno, WV and Timothy Ellis of Accoville, WV; a very special friend: Lisa Brown, whom she enjoyed spending her time with and helped with her day-to-day needs.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

Friends may gather with the family on Friday February 25th, 2022 at 12PM for visitation at the Bruno Church of God, where funeral services will commence at 1PM with pastor Roger Frye officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.  Jennett’s family and friends will carry her to her final resting place where she will be placed beside her beloved Mother.
