Nathan Randy Ellis

Nathan Randy Ellis, 63 of Baisden, WV departed this life on August 11 2025 from CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. Randy was born on December 22, 1961 at Man WV to the late Roy and Ina Ellis.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son: Nathan Ray Ellis; brothers: Roger, Steve and Junior Ellis; and sister: Gene Ellis.  

Randy enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, hunting and storytelling.  He was an avid sports fan, especially football and basketball, and his favorite teams were the Oakland Raiders and Los Angelas Lakers.  He was a coal miner for 15 years.   

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his sons: Nathaniel (Virginia) Ellis, Seth (Mackenzie) Ellis, and Samuel Ellis; brothers: Lee (Gladys) Ellis and Robert (Connie) Ellis; sisters: Wanda (Larry) Muncy and Ann (Randy) Morrison; grandchildren: Hannah, Heidi, Hazley, Emily, and Colton Ellis; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Friends may gather with the family Friday August 15, 2025, 12 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel for visitation.  Funeral services will be commence at 1 PM Rev. Clifford Rawls officiating. Burial will follow in the May/Ellis Cemetery, Gilbert Creek.  Randy will be carried to his resting place by family and friends.  

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
