Nina Sue (Wolford) Hatfield

Nina Sue Hatfield, 53 of Wharncliffe departed this life Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from her residence.

Born on January 5, 1967 in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Shirley (Temple) Wolford.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister: Jenny Daniels; step-dad: Jerry May; nephews: Danny Daniels and Chris Wolford; niece: Kimberly Breeding.

Nina loved to knit, crochet, and do crafts.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her husband: Bartley Hatfield; her son: Joey (Tasha) Wolford, all of Wharncliffe; her daughter: Nikita (J.R.) Ferrell of Gilbert; grandchildren: Hunter Maynard, Preston Parker Ferrell, Brantley and Nakenna Wolford, Kyle Stanley.   She also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Starr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Pie, WV.

Nina will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Hollie Ray Ellis, Joey Wolford, Justin Daniels, Mickey Sammons, Jonathan Cline, Benji Browning and Zack Sammons.  Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Daniels and Bill Gilkerson.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
