Pamela Jean Lester Highlander, 55 of Verner, departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born September 6, 1963 at Shelton, Washington she was the daughter of Myrtle Lester and the late Edward Ray Lester.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband: Greg Highlander; maternal grandparents: Lenzie and Pearl Lester; fraternal grandparents: Burgess and Greenvallie Lester; step grandmother: Ruth McBrayer.

Pam was loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a graduate of Gilbert High School.  Pam loved spending time at the lake watching the boats.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed spending time with the loves of her life her children and grandchildren.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Pam and to mourn her passing include her children: Kearstin (James) Ratliff of Davin, Joseph (Kelley) Highlander of Verner; her parents: Gerald & Myrtle Lester of Baisden; grandchildren: James Ratliff Jr. and Erika Ratliff both of Davin; sister: Lynn (Johnny) Belcher of Delbarton; brother: Russell (Vera) Lester of Gilbert; two special nephews: Jason (Melissa) Belcher of Delbarton, Gary Edward (Natalie) Lester of Gilbert; two very special aunts: Meta (Charles) Justice of Baisden, Romaine Lester of Justice; two great nieces: Skylar Belcher and Johnna Belcher both of Delbarton; great nephew: Haygan Belcher of Delbarton; a very special friend: Vanessa Back of Wharncliffe; and a host of other dear family and friends.      

To honor her wishes she will be cremated.

Her beautiful smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
