Perry Gene Hatfield

Perry Gene Hatfield, 64, of Delbarton, departed this life Monday, August 10, 2020 from CAMC Memorial Hospital.

Born May 4, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK., he was the son of the late Cecil and Nira Jean (Hill) Hatfield.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Brenda Hatfield.

Perry was a retired security guard, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed spending time in the garage working on his trucks.  He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church of God at Beech Creek.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his stepmother: Mary Hatfield of Delbarton; his sisters: Cynthia Dalton of Virginia and Roseanna Hatfield of Williamson; brother: Rodney Carter of Gilbert; stepsisters: Faye Hatfield of Gilbert, Nora Painter of Ohio; stepbrothers: Frank Painter of Ohio, Bob Painter of Illinois and Chris Allen Painter; and his niece: Priscilla (David) Fortune of Wytheville, VA.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 1:00 till 2:00 pm in Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Allison Hatfield Cemetery at Newtown, WV.

Perry will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
