Phoeba Ella (Harper) Toler, 76 of Justice, WV departed this life Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV.
Born December 20, 1949, at Guyan, WV she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Nancy (Hatfield) Harper.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Sadie Chambers, Emaline Hatfield, Thelma Morgan, and Jeanie Mounts, her infant sister, Truby Harper; brothers: Amos (Lois), Ben (Geneva), Junior (Ella), Curtis (Patty), and Lonnie (Virgie) Harper, her infant brother Willie Harper.
Phoeba was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all. She loved to sew, work on her pictures, and work with her puzzles. When she was able to go, she enjoyed attending church and spending time with her church family, she was of the Church of God Faith.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years: Deadle Toler of the home; her sons: Rev. Robert David (Teresa) Toler, of Justice, WV, Wayne Lee (Caroline) Toler of Rushville, Ohio, Jamie Dale (Missy) Toler of Richmond, VA, grandchildren: Kyle David Toler of Talbott, TN, Emily Cline of Justice, WV, Brian Cline of Gilbert Creek, WV, Kaitlin Lovejoy (Zach Christman) of State College, PA and Reagan Toler of Rushville, OH, Jayda Toler of Richmond, VA; she leaves behind numerous great grandchildren; one sister: Betty Addison of Floyd, VA; one brother: Clarence Harper of Simon, WV. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 6:00 till 9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mounts Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. with Bishop Shaun Walker and Rev. Robert David Toler officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV.
Phoeba will be carried to her resting place by pallbearers: Kyle Toler, Wayne Toler, Jamie Toler, Jayda Toler, also by other family and friends.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
