Phyllis Jean (Caserta) Belcher

Phyllis Jean (Caserta) Belcher, 75 of Crown, WV departed this life Sunday, January 15, 2023, from her residence.

Born November 2, 1947, in Middleport, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Gary and Maxine (Davis) Caserta.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Rev. Jimmie Belcher; brother: Terry Caserta.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, who loved spending time, and taking care of her loved ones.  She enjoyed cleaning her house, but her greatest joy was serving the Lord, she attended the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church, when she was able to do so, and worship with her church family, and her special Pastor, Bill Cantrell.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss, are her daughters: Lisa (Ralph) Bowen of Robinette, WV., Cyndi (Kenny) Smith of Bruno, WV., Shell (Michael) Kirk of Logan, WV; grandchildren: Robbie (Jennifer) Grimmett, Carrie Cooper, Krysten (Mikie) Sansom, Lavonda (Mikey) Delong, Mikey and Sabra Kirk; great grandchildren: Hunter, Keatley, and Lacie Beth Sansom, Ross and Jackson Delong, Jackson James Kirk (J.J.); sister: Linda Caserta; brother: Richard (Pam) Caserta; special great niece: Carly Caserta.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

To honor her wishes, Phyllis will be cremated, and as she had requested, no services will be held.

The family extends a special thanks to Dignity Hospice for the great care they helped provide for their loved one.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
