Randy Dale Goodman

Randy Dale Goodman, 47 of War Eagle, WV departed this life Monday, May 1, 2023 from his residence.

Born December 8, 1975 at Welch, WV he was the son of Margie “Millie” (Manuel) and the late Franklin Goodman.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by nephews: Travis Cline and Braiden Compton.

Randy enjoyed 4-wheel riding, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the War Eagle Church of God.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his mother: Margie “Millie” Goodman of War Eagle; children: Michelle and Lillieann Goodman of New Mexico; step kids: Mary and Matthew Kennedy; grandchild: Zoey Kennedy, all of Welch; sisters: Darlene (Teddy) Stanley of War Eagle, Loretta (Freddy Joe) Blankenship of Isaban, Anna (Jimmy) Wolford of Ben Creek; brothers: Terry (Wilma) Goodman of War Eagle, Jerry (Jennifer) Goodman of Mud Fork, Allen (Maria) Goodman of Ikes Fork, Aaron Goodman of Wisconsin, Kelly (Monica) Goodman of Panther; special niece: Amanda (Tyler Coleman) Stigall; special nephew: Matthew (Brittany) Goodman, all of War Eagle.  He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the War Eagle Church of God, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Goodman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Goodman Cemetery at War Eagle.

Randy will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
