Richard "Dusty" McGuire

Richard “Dusty” McGuire, 74 of Browning Fork section of Gilbert, WV departed this life Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born May 25, 1946 at Squire, WV he was the son of the late Kathleen (McGuire) Ramey.

In addition to his mother, he is also preceded in death by his brother: Roger Ramey; grandmother: Myrtle McGuire.

Dusty was a member of the Gilbert Church of God.  He enjoyed golfing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was a retired Coal Miner.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife: Carol McGuire; his sons: Richard (Serena) McGuire, Jr., all of Browning Fork and Brian (Connie) McGuire of Westerville, Ohio; grandchildren: Lyndsey and Carrie McGuire, all of Browning Fork and Morgan Allen McGuire of Gahanna, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Adalyn McGuire and expecting soon Remi Leightyn “Sunny Jolene” McGuire, all of Browning Fork.  Dusty also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Pastor Katie Endicott officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork, Gilbert, WV.

Dusty will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Andrew Bush, Scott Carter, Justin Endicott, Crennis Bryant, Jay Bryant and Keith Hatfield.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
