Richard D. Walls

Richard D. Walls, 59 of Tamcliffe, WV departed this life Monday, November 14, 2022 from King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY.

Born June 20, 1963 at Man, WV he was the son of the late Clinton Albert and Grethel (Lester) Walls.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Gayvon (Toler) Walls; sister: Rosalie Roberts; nephew: Jeremy Todd Roberts.

Richard enjoyed doing crafts, watching old westerns, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.  He attended the Christian Freewill Baptist Church, Christian, WV.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his brother: Ricky (Elizabeth) Walls of Gilbert; stepson: Shawn Blackburn of Long Branch; nephews: Nathan Walls of Ripley, Todd Roberts of Beckley, Chad Roberts of Tamcliffe; 1 great-niece and 2 nephews, whom he loved like his grandchildren: Marissa Roberts, Blake and Braden Roberts, all of Hanover.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, November 18, 2022 from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with Rev. Jackie Jesse and Rev. Roger Browning officiating.  Burial will follow in the Skyline Cemetery at Justice, WV.

Richard will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
