Robert Curry Obituary

Robert Eugene Curry, 67 of Slabtown, departed this life Sunday, January 3, 2021 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born April 22, 1953 at Logan, he was the son of the late Clinton and Pauline (Woodson) Curry.

Robert was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife: Drema Curry of Slabtown; daughter: Shannon Curry and companion Corey Lawson of Lyburn; son: Tanner Curry of Slabtown; sister: Ruth (Harold) Adkins of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; brother: Jimmy (Jean) Curry of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law: Candace (Joe) Gravely of Spice Creek; brothers-in-law: Gary Browning (Charmin Anderson) of Gilbert, James (Brandi) Browning of Logan, Matthew Browning of Gilbert, Marcus Browning (Karen Lovern) of Gilbert. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Riverview Freewill Baptist Church at Slabtown for their love and kindness during their time of loss.

To honor Robert’s wishes, his remains were cremated.

A private memorial will be planned at a later date.
