Robert Edwards

Robert Edwards, 61 of Iaeger, WV departed this life Saturday, January 20, 2024 from CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, WV.  Born on January 21, 1962 at Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Allen and Clara (Bailey) Edwards.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Mary Mullins; daughters: Crystal Mullins and Sarah Matney; sisters: Hazel Reynolds, Judy Justice, and Serena Robinette.

Robert enjoyed watching sports.  He had worked as a logger for several years and loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his daughters: Robin Edwards of Iaeger, WV, and Dreama (Lisa) Allen of Welch, WV; his son: Randall Edwards of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren: Krysta Edwards of Iaeger, WV, Austin Matney of Panther, WV, and Nicole Hunt of Richlands, VA; sister: Darlene (Thomas) Culbertson of Princeton, WV; brothers: Bernard Edwards (Roberta Steele) of Iaeger, WV and Van Edwards of War, WV.; special friend: Joe Ford of Iaeger, WV.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 till 1:00 pm at the Mile Branch Community Church, Iaeger, WV.   Funeral services will commence there at the church at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery at Iaeger, WV.

Robert will be carried to his resting place by his family and friends.

He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
